Who are you

I was in a school or library type building. I needed to urinate. I found a urinal in a tight narrow hall of shelves and books but it was not a bathroom. The urinal wasn’t a urinal as much as it was a sort of shelf, dark green, with water running around on it. Things were written on it, like sort of graffiti on a desktop and there was a dark mark were the stream of urine would naturally hit. The shelf was up high I had to make an arc of urine for it to land in the shelf of flowing water. After I turn around and wrote or carved on the wall “who are you?” A young athletic man in walked up in a white Tshirt to see what I was writing.

Your dream presents a rich tapestry of symbols and emotional undertones that invite reflection on identity, expression, and boundaries. The setting of a school or library evokes themes of learning, knowledge, and perhaps self-exploration. Libraries often symbolize the inner mind or the pursuit of understanding, suggesting you might be navigating questions about yourself or your personal growth. The need to urinate in this space touches on a basic physical urge set against a backdrop of structure and order. Water running around on a dark green shelf that resembles a urinal yet isn’t quite one might symbolize the fluidity of emotions or the challenge of finding an appropriate outlet for expression within confined or unconventional spaces. The color green can be associated with growth, renewal, or balance, which could relate to how you process your feelings or release tension. The act of making an arc to reach the shelf suggests adaptability or effort to achieve your aim despite obstacles or limitations—perhaps a metaphor for how you manage your needs or desires in a situation that isn’t straightforward. Writing or carving “Who are you?” on the wall stands out as a direct and powerful inquiry. This question may point inward or outward—wondering about your own identity, something or someone unknown, or the nature of connection with others. Walls often represent barriers, permanence, or a canvas for expression, indicating a desire for clarity, self-revelation, or dialogue. The appearance of the young athletic man in a white T-shirt can symbolize vitality, new energy, or a fresh perspective. White often conveys purity or openness. His interest in what you’ve written hints at a moment of potential interaction, acknowledgment, or curiosity between different aspects of yourself or with others who observe your self-explorations. Altogether, this dream seems to invite contemplation about how you express fundamental needs and questions of identity within structured environments, how you seek connection through your words or actions, and how openness or vulnerability might invite unexpected encounters or insights. It reflects a journey of self-inquiry balanced with the human desire for understanding and acceptance.
