Old Church Turned into Haunted House

I was living in a home that used to be a church. My bedroom was on 2nd floor where all of the dream happened. It was late at night and there was a huge thunderstorm happening. My bedroom was long and empty with hardwood floors. The only furniture was a dresser, and a bed, which was close to a staircase leading below. I was in my bed with my mom and my cat. I kept worrying about my cat jumping off the bed. My mom offers me a joint, which was weird because my mom isnt into drugs at all. I feel scared because of the storm. All of a sudden, the power goes off. Then I hear slow, loud, heavy footsteps coming up the stairs. So mom and I start to pray. I am terrified. I feel like an evil being is coming up the stairs which I don't understand because we are living in a refurbished church. At this point my husband woke me up because I was talking in my sleep. I was saying The Lord's Prayer apparently.
