Elevators

I've tried to Google the meaning of elevators in dreams but none of the descriptions match my experiences. Most will talk about elevators, or ones that fall or getting stuck in one. My elevator dreams are different. I don't remember any conversations but I know that I'm usually looking for someone I know. The buildings are always elegant and professional looking but the elevators are always a bit unstable. They're always huge elevators but there are larger-than-normal gaps between the building and the elevator. The elevator has a lot of play, or give, when stepping on. I always make it to the other floors but the ride is always filled with anxiety. The step over the gap, the Shakey floor, the terrifying ride.. I wish I know what it meant.
