Sky Creek

I’m with my dad at this creek. It’s the steepest thing I’ve ever seen. There’s a good ol boy fishing upstream from us. My dad starts talking to him. He says that this creek is a surprisingly clean one and that even though it’s dark brown looking it’s main mineral deposit is red clay. I climb up to a part that feels way too steep and chicken out. But then someone I know goes past it so I follow them. It’s literally stretching into the sky. I start sliding down and it’s an amazing ride.
