Some Guy’s Renovation

I’m walking around a house with the guy whose renovating it. I’m drawing the plan for him. The walls are yellow and everything is cleaned out. It all looks good until another guy asks about a spot where some drywall had been taken out. I look at it and someone ripped the studs down the center and put a cross brace in there about ten studs wide. I look at the builder and tell him yeah that’s not good. You can’t weaken that much of the wall like that. I look again and it look like they used a scrap piece from some stairs to brace with. Then I look again and it’s like there’s a ton of scrap pieces stuck together to build that wall. I let him know about it. He knows and he’s not worried. It’s part of the fix I guess. He tells me my dad is actually gonna come look at this place. There’s a piano here.
