Hide and Seekers
...I was playing hide and seek with somebody. I was pretty small because I could go under bushes and I was actually doing pretty well. I heard from the voice over, that the guy that was hunting me was talking about how to test the air, smell it, look around and see all the places somebody could hide. They were really into it, like he was military. I almost want to say it was somebody like 'The Rock' but not quite. He was teaching somebody else and I was The Hider and they were The Seeker. I went past some bushes and knelt down. I could see his shoes and realized he was super close. I didn't move and he just reached past the bush from where he was on the other side of tapped my leg gently. I thought it was cool because I was ready to stop playing and go in anyway...

Your dream of playing hide and seek touches on themes of childhood innocence, exploration, and the dynamic between being visible and hidden. Playing as the smaller figure who skillfully moves under bushes suggests a sense of agility and adaptability in navigating your environment or perhaps your inner world. This could symbolize a part of yourself that is curious, resourceful, and enjoys moments of playfulness or retreat. The seeker, described as disciplined and almost military-like, introduces an element of challenge, focus, and perhaps an authority figure or aspect of your own mind that is methodical and observant. The presence of a teacher role further suggests learning or guidance—maybe you are witnessing or experiencing a process of being observed, evaluated, or even supported in your efforts. The moment when the seeker gently taps your leg is understated but significant. It signals an ending or transition—a gentle acknowledgment of being found and a mutual understanding that the seeking has concluded. Your feeling that you were ready to stop playing and go in suggests a conscious choice to move from a state of hiding or protected exploration back into openness or a different phase of awareness. Overall, this dream might reflect your relationship with vulnerability and safety, the interplay between concealment and discovery, and a readiness to engage with whatever is "found" within or around you—perhaps inviting a sense of balance between play and attentiveness in your waking life.
