music label auditions

mmmm!! i dreamt i was trying out for this music label... (not a very big one, just a small one to help me get started and helped out with my music career) and there were other people there too trying out. and i first i was go na sing them a country song i wrote but i didn't really have the tune and cadence down yet. and the lady asked me "you have more of a canary than a country voice, how are you gonna do it? just feel it out?" and i was like i dunno... a bit unsure. and she went to sort it all out and get ready to play it. and all of a sudden i heard a couple chords from "queen of the rodeo" on one of the commercials or something and i started singing it. it felt like a sign from you or mike or something cause like the vibe immediately changed and she looked at me and i was like. "can you play that one instead?" and she nodded and she went to change it. and i made sure she chose the dallas 1990 version. she was like ooh who sings that?? and i was like alice in chains. and i got all confident cause i knew this was one i could knock out of the park. and i woke up before i could sing it!
