...I was living in a different house but, in this dream, I was not married and I didn't have kids. So, it was like the past but different. I was fixing the house, cleaning and organizing. I walked around back and realized that there was a room there that I had forgotten about. I could see a window with boxes in it. I went in the house to locate the room and I couldn't believe I had forgotten an entire room existed. I was really happy to have the extra space and so I went ahead and started cleaning and organizing. At one point, I was laying down and my cat Tia (who died at 17 back in 2017) was laying on my chest. I was petting her and loving on her. I heard my dad say something about her like he was asking where she was and she got scared and hid. I made an excuse that I didn't know where she was and my dad left. (I have no idea why she was scared of him or why he was asking for her.) l protected her by allowing her an out not to be there. I got the idea that she was going to be punished for something...
