Ambulance driving
I was driving an ambulance but I was not a paramedic. There was a guy in trouble in the back. Maybe he had been shot. I was not supposed to use the siren because I was not a paramedic but I was worried about the guy and could feel him slipping. I needed to get around traffic and turned the siren on briefly and gunned the engine to speed around cars. Another dream I was in a class being taught around a book Robert Anton Wilson had wrote. The book looked like Alan Moore’s Bumper Book and contained magick sigils associated with angels. I knew quite a bit about the subject and felt advanced in this very large class. A stack of cards was passed around the room with hand written quotes from the book we were to pull from. The card I pulled said something like “when my musician friends learn I use magick.” Or something like that. I was not particularly excited about the card but did care much about the exercise. Next I was in a back room and had been working on getting this book published. There was a man and a woman. The woman left to go talk to publishers and the man got serious and said that there were concerns about publishing a book with religious topics along side of guns. I was shocked and got really angry. We had worked long and hard on this book. I raised my voice and said “you have to be kidding me! Now? After all this work??? This is Robert Anton Wilson for god sakes!” The guy said it might still get published but there were just concerns. I couldn’t believe they would even consider pulling the plug this late into the process. Another dream I was going to meet with my new therapist but was talking to my friend Andrew who is a therapist that specializes in the type of somatic therapy I will see the new guy for. The room was dim. Andrew asked me “where are you tight and where are you loose?” While he stretched in his white Tshirt. I scanned my body and told him “I feel tight all over.” He asked “what is your body full of?” I told him “sand!”

In your first dream where you are driving an ambulance without being a trained paramedic, it suggests a feeling of responsibility and urgency to help someone in need, even though you may not have the proper tools or knowledge to do so. This could be related to a situation in your waking life where you feel overwhelmed by a sense of duty or obligation to help someone close to you who is struggling. The use of the siren and speeding around cars may symbolize a desire to overcome obstacles quickly and efficiently in order to reach your goals, despite facing challenges or limitations. This could indicate a need for assertiveness and taking decisive action in your waking life to address important issues or personal concerns. In the second part of your dream, where you are in a class discussing a book by Robert Anton Wilson that contains magick sigils, it suggests a fascination with esoteric or mystical knowledge and a sense of superiority or expertise in the subject matter. The passing of cards with quotes from the book may symbolize a desire for deeper understanding and self-reflection in your waking life. The conflict over publishing the book with religious topics alongside guns may reflect inner conflicts or external pressures related to conflicting beliefs or values in your life. Your anger and frustration in the dream may indicate a fear of rejection or criticism for expressing unconventional or controversial ideas, despite your dedication and hard work in pursuing your creative endeavors. In the final dream segment with your therapist friend Andrew, the dimly lit room and the somatic therapy focus suggest a need to explore and address underlying physical and emotional tensions or stress in your life. The question about where you feel tight and loose in your body may reflect a need for self-awareness and self-care, as well as a desire to release and let go of emotional burdens or physical discomfort. Overall, these dreams indicate a complex interplay of emotions, responsibilities, aspirations, and inner conflicts that may be influencing your thoughts and actions in your waking life.
