I am swimming in the ocean, not far from shore at a beach that gives off Florida West Coast beach (Gulf of Mexico) vibes. Three big seals are swimming with me. Seriously, they’re big dudes. They are muscular, and they are fat but not to the point of having a rotund body shape. It’s more like when a really muscular dude from the gym is chunky on top of that muscle. The three seals (at least I’m pretty sure it was three, maybe they were more, but three is the number that sticks out for how many seals were directly interacting with me) were swimming next to me, nuzzling up against me, kind of loving on me, one of them loving on me maybe a little too hard, gnawing like when a puppy doesn’t know better, not injuring me, but being a little brash about it and he needed to chill out a bit. Eventually, I start swimming for the shore because I’m not totally sure the seals aren’t going to get too rough, because, no matter how sweet and cuddly they may be, they are, ya know, still wild animals. However all in all the interaction was really positive. I would chill with those seals again anytime.
